Most fitness trackers exist to ship your workouts to a server. LogZero's exercise tracker does the opposite: it runs the timer on your device, displays it as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen, and stores every minute logged in a local database.

Start a 5-minute, 30-minute, or custom workout. Or skip the timer and add minutes manually for the workout you already did. Daily target progress shows up in the dashboard.

When a session finishes, the app rings a soft bell and triggers a haptic. That's the entire integration. No leaderboards, no streaks shared, no metrics uploaded.

Why this is private

Workout data feeds the ad targeting that markets supplements, gym memberships, and athletic gear. LogZero's exercise log makes none of those resales possible.

Common questions

Common questions about exercise

Can I see the workout timer without keeping the app open?

Yes — when you start a workout timer in LogZero, it pins a Live Activity to your Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and newer). The countdown stays glanceable from any other app you switch to, and a soft bell + haptic fires when the session ends. You can put your phone face-down for the entire workout and still know exactly where you are.

Can I see how exercise affects my mood?

Yes. LogZero's correlations engine computes statistical relationships between exercise minutes and your other trackers (mood, sleep, weight, food). The math runs on your iPhone. Your workout data never leaves the device.

Is exercise data shared with Apple Health?

No, unless you explicitly export it. LogZero does not auto-write to Apple Health or auto-read from it. Your exercise minutes stay inside LogZero, and you can export them whenever you want, in formats you control.
